This past month has had the beginning of new Praise Teams and God has blessed them with wonderful praise and worship songs. Let your pastors and Ministry Leadership Team know what you think about them. They are really working hard to set a spirit of worship on Sunday mornings. Any thing you can see for improvement, please let us know. The Praise Teams and Hands Open, Hearts Open, are all here, called by the Holy Spirit, to serve everyone who attends worship for His Glory.

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

So God likes to sing too! He even likes to share his lullabies with those he loves. God is our Abba Father, He gently rocks and quiets his children with his affectionate care. He rejoices in your life and He is glad He created you. Your life is in His hands and He has many good plans and blessings for you.

We proclaim our love for the Lord. We pray to know Him more. We deeply desire that our life is pleasing to Him. I believe that we spend more time thinking and praying about how to please God and how to live our lives in accordance with His will, than we spend thinking about how much He loves us. How often do you stop and think, “God loves me…He is rejoicing over me right now”? We tend to think that God is disappointed or upset with us instead of thinking about how much He loves and adores us. Why? Because so many of our thoughts are from our involvement in the world, not by our involvement in the love of God. And we have an enemy (the devil) who prowls around like a roaring lion giving us negative thoughts and will do anything he can to keep us from experiencing peace and joy that comes only from Jesus.

Write this verse down, think about it, and memorize it. Keep repeating it over in your heart and mind and let the Lord Himself speak His words to your heart. The Lord God is with you and will save you. He rejoices over you, quiets you with His love and sings to you. Can you believe it? Yes! God’s word is truth and you can trust that these words are spoken just for you. Experience His love, peace and joy right now.

O God, I pray that when someone who is reading this feels everything seems to be against him or her, they will remember these words and feel safe, comfort and peace in Your sheltering care. Show them, O God, Your singing in their life as You make Your salvation more clear to them each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
