The Lillian Beard Deaf Connection Center (LBDCC) is a faith-based deaf-oriented community center that provides various services and classes to the deaf community. We have various classes, workshops, meetings and events that you can join. We just started our newest program called International Deaf Service along with existing programs. We are proud to have 3 deaf people from Bhutan (a small country north of India in the Himalaya Mountains range) coming here and we are expecting more coming here soon. Some deaf organizations have used LBDCC for their monthly meetings such as Deaf Task Force for Emergency Preparedness (DTFEP) and Houston Black Deaf Advocacy (HBDA).

On the first Wednesday of every month from 10a–Noon, Jeanne Hilferty, D.Ann Nelson, and Sandra Manley will have sugar diabetes classes. |
